ABOUT

I’m Mert Okkaoğlu. I have been involved in the business world for more than 20 years. Within Okkaoğlu Group, I take an active role in management, business development, and strategic decision-making, drawing on my experience in the mining, construction, and lime industries.

In business, I value sustainable growth, trust, strong teamwork, and long-term partnerships. I always try to move forward with a mindset focused on technology, continuous improvement, and investing in the future.

​

Outside of business, I enjoy traveling, discovering new places, and experiencing different cultures. Art also holds an important place in my life; I believe it broadens our perspective and allows us to see the world in a richer and more meaningful way.

Camping, caravan culture, nature, and civil society activities are also important parts of my life. Through my roles as President of the National Camping and Caravan Federation and President of the Uşak Camping and Caravan Association, I aim to contribute to the development of this culture.

​

I’m also a passionate Galatasaray supporter and actively take part in the Uşak Galatasaray Supporters Association.

I created this blog to share my experiences in business, my thoughts, travels, interest in art, camping and caravan experiences, and the moments in life that inspire me.

​

For me, life is about working, learning, creating, exploring, being inspired by art, and making meaningful memories with the people I love.
